I found this woodland in Hertfordshire almost by accident during a stopover to break up a long drive.
I ended up staying there several hours, surrounded by spectacular colors saturated by the cloudy sky, drunk on the penetrating scent of millions of beautiful bluebells.
It was almost Heaven on Earth.
