I returned to the place where I took the previous photos hoping to find similar conditions, but eight days of mild temperatures turned those expanses of embroidered ice into a chaotic pile of shapeless ice flakes, in which I found challenging to succeed in finding a compositional balance. This is what I managed to achieve.
