On a recent trip to the Po River Delta, I noticed this spot alongside the road I was driving on, called the “Romea state highway”, infamously known for being the most dangerous and deadly road in Italy.
I stopped along the road to take some pictures, trying not to get “paved over” by some truck.
This is the shot I was able to take, whose sinister aura I feel matches the dark reputation of the adjacent road.
