After heavy rains in recent weeks, the level of Lake Santa Croce in Alpago has finally risen to the point of flooding the forest present on its northern shore.
The water level was such that it covered all the brushwood on the ground, providing an excellent mirror effect, but also such that I could walk through the water with my boots without danger. But it was about 3 inches higher than the edge of my boots, making the photographic experience particularly…soggy.
